The HCL Romania CSR team along with the enthusiasts of sports spent the day of 17th of April 2022 at the Semimarathon event in Iasi, running to spread the hope of a better tomorrow alongside the Save the Children Iasi and Rotary club Iași Copou.
20 km race and different cross running trails gathered over 2000 sports enthusiast and make a colorful impact on the street of the city and brought a huge smile of hope for children in vulnerable situations. HCL Romania CSR takes a stand for the lives of children around the community by engaging employees, stakeholders and the resources each of us poses as individuals, to create a future for children through educational programs offered by Salvati Copiii Iasi and Pro Ruralis Association.
By taking part in this initiative, HCL is not only the next-generation technology company that helps enterprises reimagine their business in a digital era, but it creates the foundation of the most precious resource that can create a better future for all: children.
Semimarathon Iași participation will be a constant reminder of our dedication towards helping communities and children. HCL Foundation has dedicated its resources, time and efforts to endeavor and to contribute toward national and international development goals, bringing about lasting positive impact on people and the planet through long-term sustainable programmes with thematic focus on Education, Health & Sanitation, Skill Development & Livelihood, Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction & Response.
Along with our partners from Salvati Copiii Iași and Rotary Club Iași Copou we will fight to remain central in this initiative for years to come, and ensure equitable development and opportunities for all children the organization is support.
Through this, we are also encouraging a healthy, responsible and fun lifestyle that brings balance in the work life of each HCL Romania employee.
